Refund & Delay Penalties Policy for HM Interior

At HM Interior, we strive for 100% client satisfaction through clear communication and professional execution. We understand that projects can encounter unforeseen changes, and we believe in maintaining fairness for both our clients and our team. This policy outlines our approach to refunds and project timeline guarantees.

1. Refund Policy

Because our interior design services involve custom procurement, labor scheduling, and design hours, refunds are managed based on the project phase:

  • Pre-Design Phase: If you choose to cancel after the initial booking but before final design approval, we will refund your booking amount, minus a nominal administrative fee (15% of the booking amount) to cover initial consultations and preliminary planning.

  • Post-Design/Procurement Phase: Once final designs are approved and procurement/production has commenced, materials have often been ordered specifically for your site. In this stage, the Design & Planning (40%) milestone payment is generally non-refundable.

  • On-Site Execution Phase: Refunds during the execution phase are handled on a case-by-case basis. We will refund the cost of any uninstalled materials or labor not yet rendered, minus a 20% project management cancellation fee.

2. Project Delay Penalties

We value your time and are committed to delivering your project on schedule. To ensure accountability, we adhere to the following delay policy:

  • The Guarantee: If a project delay is caused directly by HM Interior (e.g., mismanagement of labor, failure to procure materials as scheduled), we will provide a penalty credit to the client for every week of delay beyond the agreed-upon completion date.

  • Penalty Structure: A penalty of 0.5% of the total project value will be credited to the client for each full week of delay, capped at a maximum of 5% of the total project value.

  • Exclusions: Delays caused by factors outside our control—including but not limited to, force majeure, client-requested changes to the design mid-execution, delays in client-provided site access, or non-payment of milestones—are exempt from these penalties.

3. Procedure for Claims

Should you feel a delay or refund is warranted:

  1. Notification: Please email contact@hminteriorblr.in with the subject line "Project Concern: [Your Name/Site Address]".

  2. Review: Our management team will review the project timeline, milestones, and payment history.

  3. Resolution: We will provide a formal response within 3 business days to discuss an amicable resolution, credit adjustment, or refund calculation.

4. Commitment to Fairness

Our goal is to avoid delays and the need for refunds entirely. We maintain transparent communication throughout the project so that any potential issues are identified and resolved before they impact your timeline or budget.
