 Terms and Conditions for HM Interior

Welcome to HM Interior. By engaging our interior design services in Bengaluru, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms outline the professional relationship between HM Interior and our clients to ensure clarity, quality, and mutual respect.

1. Scope of Services

HM Interior provides professional interior design, project management, and execution services. The specific scope of work, including design drawings, material specifications, and project timelines, will be defined in the finalized Work Agreement/BOQ (Bill of Quantities) signed by both parties.

2. Client Obligations

  • Site Access: The client agrees to provide timely access to the project site for our design team, laborers, and supervisors as required by the project schedule.

  • Approvals: To ensure project timelines are met, the client agrees to provide feedback and approvals on design concepts, material selections, and layout changes within the timelines discussed at the start of the project.

  • Payment Compliance: The client agrees to adhere to the milestone-based payment schedule as outlined in the Payment Policy.

3. Intellectual Property

All design concepts, mood boards, architectural drawings, and 3D renderings produced by HM Interior remain the intellectual property of HM Interior. Clients are granted a license to use these designs solely for the execution of the project at the designated site. These designs may not be reproduced, sold, or shared with third-party contractors for external use without prior written consent.

4. Project Timelines & Variations

  • Timeline Estimates: All project completion dates are estimates based on standard site conditions. HM Interior will make every effort to adhere to the schedule.

  • Unforeseen Delays: We are not responsible for delays caused by factors outside our control, including site-specific civil issues, supply chain disruptions, or delays in client-provided materials/approvals.

  • Design Variations: Minor variations in color, texture, or material finish may occur compared to 3D renders due to lighting and natural material properties.

5. Limitation of Liability

HM Interior is committed to professional excellence; however, we shall not be held liable for:

  • Damages resulting from pre-existing structural issues at the site.

  • Indirect or consequential losses arising from project delays beyond our reasonable control.

  • The performance or quality of products/services provided directly by third-party vendors selected by the client.

6. Dispute Resolution

We value our relationship with our clients and believe in resolving any concerns through direct, professional communication. In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved amicably through our internal review process, the matter shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

7. Changes to Terms

HM Interior reserves the right to update these terms to reflect changes in our business practices or legal requirements. The version available on our website at the start of your project shall apply to your agreement.
